Well, this is a pretty ridiculous post all-in-all. LNP once belonged to the SWP, & he still admires _some_ things about Trotsky, but the label is not very useful -- in fact I would call such labels a substitute for thinking on those too lazy to think.

As to Cuba. The Cuban people have fought a so-far successful 50 year struggle against the monster and are still standing tall, They have the best medical care of any nation outside the imperialist core. And why the fuck should anyone be called upon to have some opinion on whether or not they are "moving" towards capitalism. The monster is still pretty stong, they are a very small island of resistance, and alleged leftists living within the monster write stupid posts potentially giving aid and comfort to forces which would like to reduce Cuba to vassalage again.

And why thge fuck couldn't you write a post on Cuyba without reaching out for some individual not on the list? What's the point of hauling lnp (with whom I have my own sharp differences) onto an lbo-thread?

Yuck.
