Sure he did. I have great respect for Nader's lifetime of activism, which has saved millions of lives (think seatbelts). But he has his limitations, and one of them is an inability to think beyond the categories of the Empire's Cold War discourse. We desperately need a new politics in the US, one capable of talking openly about class, empire and capitalism, not as dogmatic bullet-points but as lived social realities.
