^^^ CB: Nonetheless, the overwhelming majority of Black _voters_ are working class , and they don't have a visceral dislike of working class people ( themselves), like James said. It's a big lie that most of Obama's voters don't "like" working class people, but most McCain supporters " like" working class people.
And one reason this lie gets over is the people saying it "forget" that most Black _voters_ are working class. Also, it ignores the white working class supporters of Obama, who are many.

and then there's my discussion of Lawrence Graham's _Our Kind of People_ on this list, which made it pretty clear that there's an upper echelon of black folk in this country that spend a lot of their time trying to be the right kind of black. Where Jesse Jackson isn't quite right, but Colin Powell and Obama are.
