HA! Try spending an hour politicking in Howard Beach or Bay Ridge and see how many registered Democrats will flat-out tell you they're voting a straight Republican ticket this year because the Democrats nominated a black guy for president. There's no telling what the Republicans are thinking.
And haven't the most segregated areas always been major cities like Chicago, Detroit, and New York, followed by affluent suburbs?
