[WS:] You got all backwards, Jordan. I said that Verizon tried to rip me off by adding unauthorized extras that I did not order. That is not that much different from someone getting a hold of my credit card number and ordering stuff without my knowledge.

Other providers demanded a higher fee for their services, whose benefits to me are basically the same as those of Verizon's services. That may be a ripoff, but there is nothing illegal or even unethical about it. I do not have to pay if I do not like the price. Verizon wanted me to pay whether I liked it or not. That is fraud.

PS. I take yours and Doug's point about encryption.
