That may be true of the new albums but I saw them in Sydney a couple of years ago and it was about the second best show I ever saw. I agree about the Don't Look Back shows. I saw SY do Daydream Nation and it was pretty cool. I have to say though that I think the fact Daydream Nation's the best-known SY album is an instance of the phenomenon of a band building critical acclaim with earlier awesomeness which builds hype for the next big album - which gets all the kudos. Of course Daydream Nation is great but I do prefer the earlier Evol and Sister, and actually, as it happens, the later Washing Machine.
