Cool daughter... I feel like I'm watching Sesame Street, tho... which of these things is not like the others (skipping the VU line)? The Beatles are derivative and imitative of Hendrix? I'm not saying the Beatles are better than Hendrix, I'm just saying that line doesn't work the way the other ones do. And anyway, even if we no this is a game of infinite regress, and the mainstream-ish parallel should have been Hendrix over Clapton, shouldn't it be Phineas Newborn (or someone of his ilk) over Hendrix?
