On Sun Jun 21, Eric Beck posted a statement by the Autobus workers of Iran:

> Given these facts, the Autobus Workers Union places itself alongside all
> those who are offering themselves in the struggle to build a free and
> independent civic society. The union condemns any kind of suppression
> and threats.

<end excerpt>

To which Eric added:

> Add the bus workers to the auto workers and the industrial union sector
> that creates the means of transportation has emerged as the vanguard in

> industrial workers with the power to spark a general strike in Iran.

You very much may have something there. Because demonstrations are being stopped, there is a lot of talk of switching tactics to strikes. And if the transportation workers strike, then most other people will be forced not to go to work. So the fact that the bus union workers are so radical may play a key role indeed.
