Well. Let's consider. In recent days lists have discussed torture, and the present "progressive" administration's decision that "american interests" are more important than exposing violations of international law. We have been discussing the (probable) coming destruction of the pension expectations of 10s of millions of u.s. residents. There have also been posts on the increasing success of AIPAC insuppressing academic criticism of zionism. Oh tes, the systematic terrorizing from the air of Afghanistan villagers. The final surrender of the UAW to pretend to protect the interests of american workers. I almost forgot. In the barbaric past there were diastrous railway accidents because of overwork of train crews, but that is just the past, and surely not related to a recent plane crash, investigation of which revealed that pay for plane crews iso low that theu areunable to afford rent near airports and come to work already too tired to think straight.

I think that's a reasonable selection of the minor horrors of the present world.

And you really want to make a big fuss about somewone paying a frew thousand to gain work experience, or some other run-of-the-mill idiocy of life under capitalism. It this little Huffintong caper were really worth concern, we could consider ourselves living in utopia. Tsk tsk.
