No need for sarcasm. The whole thing can be explained via two very
simple steps:
a) substitute "universe" for "country" in the first sentence
b) bone up on Multiverse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse)
For extra credit linger on the universe with quantum state = denial.
