All political arguments/proofs are (implicitly or explicitly) of the form if...then. They are not aimed at anyone who does not take for granted the empirical base of the if clause. The core from which a working-class movement in the U.S., strong enough to shake let alone overthrow the capitalist regime consists of those workers (all 'races' and genders) who recognize that the political unity of the class depends above all on the struggle against structural racism. Those who cannot accept this if-then at a tiven time 'divide into two': those who will come to accept it implicitly as they attach themselves to a growing movement (the attraction of which is its growth, not its abstract arguments, and those who will either remasin passive or will actively side with the enemy.
