**That is, Kalmyks. Incidentally this is kind of interesting. The Kalmyks, Europe's only Buddhist people, sided with the Whites. I can't remember his name, but one Kalmyk ataman at the time fled Russia and then later returned to found the Society for the Assistance of the Buddhists of Russia. The Bolsheviks executed him though.
