No No No. I do not understand this lust to equatre babies and children with adult consciousness. They are so much more interesting _as_ children than as little imitations of adults.
She was exploring and discovering her own body and its possibilities, so much more interesting than any abstract idea of Walking. Babies are not Platonists.
