Woj, you seem to have distilled the essence of the proposed leg, but are even more right on in your discernment of its likely political consequences... cognitively dissonant (more or less right-wing) populist backlash. And watch many if not most or all Dem lemmings rush to the defense of the turd Baucus squatted out (sorry for the vivid metaphor) after being dined to the hilt by the medical-industrial complex. Glad I am not stateside to witness the fallout...
