Same with Avaaz on the climate debate, calling for 'a deal' at Copenhagen, without informing their warriors about the downside: inadequate emissions cuts; carbon trading and offsets (with the potential of more nukes, megadams, biofuels, GM ag, etc); and inadequate reparations. Like James Hansen says about Obama's climate legislation: better no deal than this deal.
So why do these big NGOs mount campaigns that are so badly thought through?
