Grand jury testimony is, almost by definition, coached. It is also, absolutely by definition, unchallengeable by cross examination or presentation of contradictory or exculpatory evidence. A prosecutors case is *always* under dispute until the trial verdict and often very long after. Remember Ethel Rosenberg!
What is *not under dispute* is that Polanski was sandbagged into a bait-and-switch plea bargain.
