Haven't you noticed that Shane takes the contrarian position on everything? From the sheer fact of being a Trot to the Koestler theory on the origin of Eastern European Jews to Neo-Lamarkianism to denying the Big Bang to various weird theories about antiquity all the way up to Velikovskianism. Why is a question for psychoanalysis.
