don't see how constructing them as mindless dupes of ideology is an advance over calling them idiots. for brad, he's the magic one who sees through the veil of ideology and his job is to go out there, locate these tea-buggers, and show them what's what. patronizing as all gitOUT.
reminds me of this group i'm involved in. we were talking about a couple of folks who're involved who are anarchists. they don't work and they want for everyone else to stop working too.
thinking about it, i know what the anarchs are up to with this group: they want to persuade the rest of us that we should be anarchs, like them.
and at the same time, there are a couple of reds in the group who want to persuade the anarchs that they are wrong and should see the light and become reds.
no doubt others in the group see *me* as wayward and think I am in need of a stern education and need to be brought around to seeing the light.
