I reckon some people are imagining a politian jogging, and in their mind seeing Clinton with Secret Service running through a park, and thinking, to have a gun there is so silly! Stupid redneck!
But OK, if that is what happened, sure. But it is perfectly reasonable to take a small gun along if you run alone through areas where there are dangerous wild animals. I am going camping in upstate PA later and my dog, who is an 11 lb. mini-poodle, and I will go on a trail run, and yeah I will probably take a small pistol, a GPS, and freshwater. Stupid redneck! I don't want my dog to be eaten by a bear and NO JORDAN MY DOG IS SMART, he just has a thing about not being trusted to not provoke a bear! ;-)
