I don't necessarily disagree with a lot of what you say here, but this bit, which you return to frequently, is kind of silly. People do actually read stuff and are convinced by them; not everything, obviously, and not immediately or perfectly. It's a little condescending--not to mention underestimating of your enemies--for you to assume that your passage from liberal to marxist is exceptional.
