What is this all abouut. I don't visit web sites anymore --can almost never read them.

Scouts were invented in England as a prop for imperialism. Stated purpose if I remember correctly. So they can't be used to prove anything about U.S.

Come on, Chuck! Boys will be boys, no pain no gain, kids learn by making mistakes, scout summer camp is animal farm - its good training for the dog-eat-dog world of adulthood, and a million other things scout leaders are/were known to think... I aced Cub Scouts, flew through Webloes (or whatever it was called), and thought the Boy Scouts were irresponsible, really jerky, new scout and nature abusers, so I quit after the first canoeing trip...
