Worker attacks boss with machete

A 20-inch machete was used in an attack in North Travis County in Texas over the weekend. It happened between a man and his employer. The incident happened just outside of Romero Welding Service off of Interstate 35 just south of the Texas 45 toll road.
Court papers allege 22-year-old Sergio Perez was angry about getting paid only $200 last week so he attacked his boss with a machete.
Police say the victim, 54-year-old Cornelios Romero tried to block the blows, but ended up getting several cuts on his palm.
Officers arrested Perez and charged him with aggravated assault. His bond is set at $15,000.
