wiki says -
"Fascism, pronounced /ˈfæʃɪzəm/, is a political ideology that seeks to combine radical and authoritarian nationalism with a corporatist economic system."
That pretty much describes the train that's coming down the tunnel, which is probably what whoever pushed your button intended. Wiki didn't use the term 'popular' in the introductory summary, and your use might provoke some comment.
