In Obama's defense--well, it's not really a defense, but it has to do
with the parameters of this "debate"--his comment seemed to pass over
without a murmur, as if it was the most common-sensical thing one can
imagine. Some people get medical care without paying; therefore, they
are shirking their responsibilities by leeching off others. Obviously.

I also again want to stress I was retrieving Obama's words from my
memory, not from a recording or transcript, although I am confident I
got the gist of his statement, and the correct implication.
