I mean, I'm certainly not a capitalist, which is the only other choice.
I am a privileged part of the working class, which today means I have job that pays a professional wage, I have health insurance, I have a 401K, I have vacation, and if I get laid off, I get some kind of severance and unemployment benefits.
But, compared to my father, who was a Teamsters union member in the sixties, supported a family of four on one salary, put two kids through college (with no debt), bought a house, and retired with ss and pension, I am in deep shit.
