When have they pretended? Here we have a few socialist city councilmembers and state legislators, who I imagine have counterparts in other blue states. If you're feeling particularly generous, there's Bernie Saunders. And I guess if you're counting foot soldiers, the likes of the Communist Party and the DSA contribute a minuscule amount. But that's pretty much it for Democrats who do not continually sing the praises of capitalism.
