I'm not objective either. I know many of us have struggled a long time without many results. But people in Haiti who were too poor to have shovels, who lacked even drinking water still made the effort to dig others out of the rubble with their finger nails. Saturday, I heard a representative of the Honduran mental health workers union who didn't let being shot keep him from continuing to fight the coup. After a brief (and not very well organized) tour here in the U.S., he will go back to Honduras.

We just have to continue to fight. But I'm not against a realistic assessment of the situation as a coping strategy. Personally, at the moment, I'm experimenting with really deep denial.
