The argument here is (or was) whether Marx said it or not. How in the hell can any response to that be an argument from authority.
Who or what is the authority being appealed to. Actually, it seems to me that those arguing against Angelus are merely saying, the people who taught me what Marx meant can't be wrong so Angelus is wrong.
