The quoted passage was: "To govern the capitalist state is to serve capital." I'm not sure how that's silly. Read the post and tell me what your disagreements are. This is more or less the underpinning of State and Revolution and Marx and Engels' writings on the Paris Commune and the experience of every single parliamentary socialist government ever elected.

I think this is a basic political question, one that separates socialists and social democrats (I don't use "social democrats" pejoratively).
