I don't think this is quite fair: A lot of corporate boardrooms would prefer Congress did not pass a health insurance regulation bill, which is why they are busy donating to the GOP and the various rousers of teabaggers, in order to either stop the bill or to repeal it later. If the GOP wins in 2010 they will reshape this bad bill into something worse before it takes full effect. The figure of 30 million new people covered that is being thrown around by the "pragmatists" depends not only on passing this bill but on keeping Congress out of the hands of the Bachmanns.
