I don't know what there is or isn't. But when the last election rolled around, I saw something I had never seen before: normally politically inactive and cynical people taking time off from work, taking the little vacation they had, to organize for Obama's election.  This involved spending their own money to travel to far flung states to register people, to campaign, etc.

The point isn't that they were fools to believe him; the point is that there is a vein to be tapped.
