[WS:] I am surprised by your reaction. It is not about a mosque - or an Islamic cultural center to be more precise - it is about right wing demagogues using is an opportunity to rally people to their cause. And that needs to be exposed and opposed, regardless of what one thinks of Islam or religion in general.

Another point - every religion has blood on its hands, so to speak - Islam is no better or worse than Christianity, Judaism or Buddhism in that respect. But blaming religious thought or writing for this blood is as persuasive as blaming, say, crime novels for actually committed murders. Religion belongs to the realm of literary fiction, and fiction cannot be blamed for real life material events - only people and institutions can.

So let's not be bamboozled by pseudo-issues manufactured by the right wing noise machine.
