[lbo-talk] Ayn Rand - it's worse than you thought

[WS:] Rand was just a second rate trashy novel writer - these are a
dime a dozen. Nothing particularly scary about that.  What is truly
horrifying is the response her trashy novels got in the US, but
nowhere else.  I always thought that being a sociopath is a
prerequisite to become an economist but Rand's popularity in the US
suggests that there are far more sociopaths out there.
