Well, already there are quite a few public spaces where cell phones are verboten, because of the fear that their camera functions might be used "improperly". Mike G.

Wasn't it Weber who argued that the state has a monopoly on the legitimate use of images? Words will be next: eventually you'll have to get a license to speak. Mark my... er, nevermind.

^^^^^ CB: Well, speech and writing are explicitly protected in the First Amendment.  Check out Pastor whathisname who wants to denounce the Koran at a Mosque in Dearborn , Michigan or whatever.
