Yes, that is part of what I meant by redeem, but also to open the university up to new ideas. We are recruiting for a new position, but I assume that the funding will be yanked.

It is shocking to see how similar the vast majority of the applications are. What passes as a new idea is that the distribution of land ownership reflects entrepreneurial abilities. That is included in a job application.

Defunding universities was intended to make them more dependent on business. It worked.
