It's that difficult? Serious question. Because while philosophy is far from a specialty of mine, I didn't find the passage so difficult.
Another question. How much time did you spend on this?
I mean, it's important to put out a little effort if you're seriously trying to understand something. If you're not interested fine, but if that's the case then why not just move on with a nod of appreciation at least?
I can't make head nor tail of a lot of things, but I think it's bad form to dismiss a major thinker like Adorno without first trying to get it, at least a little.
Not to mention one of the translations I posted was by our own Dennis Redmond, so at least how about some props for a listmember huh?
