I for one am sick of some 23yr old telling me what's an "invalid" email 
address or not.  Give it to the fucking mailer, he'll tell you if it's 
valid or not.  All these smartypantses out there who totally mangle 
email addresses because they weren't even born when email addresses were 
defined can kiss my big fat ass.
