[lbo-talk] Europe: the last delusion

I suspect one reason why Americans want to think well of Europe is because of the fantasy of running away there if things get unbearable here. 

For example, I cling to the notion that between me and starvation there's always the "English as a Second Language" route. And, you know, the worst part of all this is how narrow our dreams become.

(Man is in love, and love's what vanishes. What more is there to say?)
