I had to look around for absolute numbers and--there it is--a whopping
$17.9 million (with an "m") in total startup tech venture investment
for Q1 in the country's largest metropolis.

Why, with that kind of money, you could (maybe) buy a condo here:

Also, there's a typo ("big apple" should be caps). OK for emails but
