there are effectively anonymous folks here who's participation indicates their contributions are worthy of interest and attention. so far, mostly, you wanna call folks names, crap on their tastes, knowledge and understanding, establish discipline and wank around checking for chips (on my shoulder, or somewhere else - I've got some floating in my knee, is that useful info?) all the while asserting that you "desperately wish" to see folks here as allies... you might want to work on your operationalization of your desperation, I'm just saying (an excusing caveat about as useful as your "now don't take this the wrong way" praise of our glorious moderator in the initial post)...
I'm sure Doug's feeling properly chastened and will immediately cease and desist from his oh-so-ever-more disappointing (to you) depressing snarky cynicism and start spending more time with his hands up historically-modified-to-the-point-of-problematic-non-interventionist-reproduction farm animal birth canals. Me, I'll continue to carefully compartmentalize the locales within which I produce and appreciate snarky cynicism given that context matters and I don't need to be in charge or a scold. It doesn't matter who you are, I don't need your identity, you've told me, at least, plenty about yourself already... congratulations.
