Seth's statements expresses what I suspect her attitude should be. Keynes theory works (in her opinion). Why bother with the metaphysical stuff? She was very sympathetic to socialism and to her interpretation of Marx's ideals, but she did not think Marx could help her understand the economy. Given her approach to doing economics, I suspect she was correct.
