Obama has said he would be willing to be a one-term president. I believe him.
But regardless -- we the people have a problem that has nothing whatever to do with anyone's private motives or thinking. An endless 35 year assault on our conditions of life, an assault there is no reason to believe will end with Obama or his successor, Dem or Rep. It is up to us. That requires thought rather than trying to guess the exact details of the goings-on in D.C. And people do have to make up their mind whether they are participants in that effort or merely bleacher fans.
