A reminder that Cockburn has taken many unpopular stands: against the ADL and SPLC, and exposing the childcare witch-hunting hysteria of the 1980s. He despises liberal hypocrisy worst of all, especially when it combines repression of "hate speech" with war-mongering. He's particularly got Proyect's goat in relation to Libya, without which one can't understand the current affair.
