That's far from true. If Howie Hawkins could pull 60,000 votes as the candidate of a party (the Greens) with no real electoral machinery, the WFP, which has the state's most sophisticated campaign operation, could have put up someone (anyone!) to draw the necessary 50,000 votes. They chose not to.
