The argument Miles makes can be used by anti-abortionists. Miles is trying to say the fetuses are already significantly fully human. U know cultural influences beyond just "natural" influences in the womb already. Babies r born in sin , afterall, according to postmodern anti-naturalism. ( This shows a confluence of postmodern idealism and religious idealism; see Engels on philosophical idealism's identity with religion ; _Socialism: Utopian and Scientific_) That's a slippery slope in America today.
