[WS:] An interesting piece, although the way she connects personal and political is a bit shocking even for a Durkheim in me :) Narcissism is an individual character trait, but it needs cultivation to grow to a political force. I would like to see some more focus on that cultivation process - for example the role of consumerism, marketing (cf. the i-products), higher education, popular culture and celebrity cult.
