Castro, like anyone else, is occasionally wrong -- but I do like his first paragraph. And this time (except for the misuse of the word "fascist") he is quite justified in crowing!
NATO & the U.S. are not fascist (as in Italy): they are worse, and it's an insult to Mussolini to connect him with the plague of the EU/US/Nato today.
It confuses history and it confuses contemporary history to keep dragging in the inter-war period. Fascism even as a metaphor is as dead as the Palace Economy or the Divine Right of Kings.
