No, I didn't mean to say that, I was just arguing that the property destruction wasn't necessarily completely irrational or purposeless; I think the way they went about it was probably mistaken. I'm not entirely sure whether what happened was that people engaged in property destruction on a march that was specifically intended as non-violent, or whether the "anti-capitalist march" was intended by its organizers to be open to tactics including property destruction and they didn't make that clear to the people who joined the march, but either way it's clear that a lot of people ended up being part of an action that included things they weren't expecting and which they didn't agree with, and I do agree that it's a real problem that the people who smashed windows put people in that position.
