These are (in my [anecdotal] experience) the same people who were so pumped up last year (or was this earlier this year) about attending the Jon Stewart rally, the first “political” rally of their lives. I told a work acquaintance that his opinion (similar to the above) about Zuccotti was fine — and nobody, including the occupiers should be bothered or offended — since he was politically irrelevant. I also made up some pithy bullshit about an opinion about politics not equalling a political opinion. I confess it was wicked (not in a Bostonian or surfer sense) fun.
