^^^^ CB: I'd say the opposition is spontaneous/socialist conscious. Spontaneous action is done with very little theory or consciousness of class struggle, the goal of socialism. In this case, the especially spontaneous aspect was the thousands of Occupations around the country and world that "sprang" up and hadn't been planned by the planners of the Wall Street Occupation, as far as I know. Masses actually have a bit more advanced consciousness of the class struggle and ruling class focused _political_ power at Wall Street, an economic institution, than I thought when I started proposing a march on Wall Street a few years ago. People really get it, and this is shown the militant, enduring demos that have sprung up everywhere, including the response of many to the call to Wall Street. Spontaneity is a relative quality , of course. This took very little "injection from the outside" as Lenin phrased in _What is to be done ?_ from a van guard. I'd say the mass and many city Occupiers _are_ the vanguard, Bolsheviks American style. The anarchist input is in the Party form, the Facilitated Consensus, though of course, it tends to Democratic Centralism because it is necessary to have some discipline , some "authority" in order to act effectively . Unity of action is often critical for it to be effective.
